With a vacuum system controlled by a Variable Speed Drive (VSD), you can reduce your energy costs by up to 65% and extend your pump’s useful life.
But a VSD all by itself is simply a variable speed controller – is varies the speed of the pump. The Shock Wave engineering Dairy Optimiser uses advanced monitoring and feedback, from all the components of your dairy, to optimise the VSD. This allows for tighter vacuum control and monitoring than other systems.
This type of monitoring and control reduces maintenance and energy consumption costs of the milking system. These all add up over time, but the real costs come into play when deterioration or failures in your cooling system happen without you knowing until it’s too late and your milk is spoiled.
This is where the Dairy Optimiser gives you peace of mind. It monitors the Ice Bank temperature, the Plate Cooler exit temperature and the Milk Bulk Storage tanks temperatures. Should any issue arise, the Dairy Optimiser will notify you immediately.
With this constant monitoring, you will also be able to build reports on the overall performance of your milking system. You’ll have records of your milk temperatures over time, allowing you to report on these conditions to your upstream dairy and dairy milking system supplier.
